New Musical Release: The New Legend of Kaguya Island

Sea of Serenity.Net is proud to present this special 24th release. This musical completes the Third Stage of the Sailor Moon Musicals. This just leaves one more musical before completing this project.

Now that Summer Holidays have arrived, Usagi, Rei, Minako and Makoto are ready to have fun but Ami, Haruka and the others have plans for a training camp at the North Pole. When Mamoru switches the location for Kaguya Island, everything seems to be going well until their ship is attacked by a new set of villains and the Sailor Soldiers find themselves thrown overboard in a storm. Together, the Sailor Soldiers must unlock the secrets of Kaguya Island that go back five thousand years.

This show is the end of the Third Stage musicals for us and with this musical, we now have translated all musicals in this project, with only the final day version of Winter 1998 to come. Please look forward to it and continue to support us.

This musical features popular songs “Junketsu no Narcissism” “Chikyuuiro wa Salad Time” “Onna Kaizoku no Sakusen” “Ice Doll” “Star Glory” “Gesshoku no Crime” “Yatto Aeta ne”  “Moonlight Justice” and “Minna Dareka ni Aisarete”. Although a remake of the 1999 shows. There are very many differences in both plot and characters and this truly is a new version of the Kaguya Island legend.

New Musical Release: Sailor Stars!

The high school is throwing a musical festival and Usagi’s even head of the committee. Soon strange incidents begin to happen that ruin the rehearsals and Usagi and her friends decide to investigate… coming up with evidence pointing towards the idols, Three Lights. When the enemy’s plot comes to light, the Solar System Sailor Soldiers are shocked to learn they’re not the only ones in the Universe and a showdown between Sailor Moon and the Solar System Soldiers and Sailor Galaxia and the Shadow Galactica begins.

This show ends the First Stage for Seaofserenity.net, excluding the final performance in 1998, with only two more musicals remaining. We hope to have our next project ready soon!

This musical features popular songs “Chasin’ After You”, “La Moon”, “Sailor Busters”, “See Me, Bokutachi no Jidai”, “Knockin’ Down Hesitation” and “La Soldier” and a special glimpse into the past lives of Usagi and Mamoru during the Edo Period.

New Musical Release The Birth! The Princess of Darkness, Black Lady

Sea of Serenity.Net is proud this special 22nd release. This musical marks the beginning of Marina Kuroki as Sailor Moon. Significantly, for the Sea of Serenity, this completes the entire Second Stage (the longest) of musicals. This is the first time that a whole Stage of Musicals have been completed by any group consistently.

The city of Crystal Tokyo in the Future is destroyed by a villainous team known as the Black Moon Clan led by the obsessive Prince Demand. When a mysterious girl called Chibiusa appears in the present day to ask help from Sailor Moon and the Sailor Soldiers for help, the team soon embarks to the Future for a showdown between Darkness and Light.

This show opens a generation and closes a Stage for us. It also features the return of Mao Kawasaki as Black Lady, Mao previously played Chibiusa all the way back in 1994 (seven years earlier!). The Black Moon storyline did not feature in the musicals original run so this is the first telling of it! It also features the Outer Soldiers, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in addition to Pluto!

This is the very first completely original story to the Sailor Moon Musicals, featuring an all new set of villains in an all new locations and the musical seems to take place post-Sailor Stars.

Translator’s Notes

With their vacation approaching, Usagi and her friends are given an exclusive deal to spend it on Kaguya Island in the South Pacific, but while on the ship, sea monsters attack and the situation worsens from there. Shipwrecked on the Island, the Sailor Soldiers find themselves unable to transform, while the island staff pretend that all is normal, the girls go hunting for the legendary jewels. Meanwhile, Chibiusa, now a bit more grown up, runs away after a big fight with her Mother in the 30th Century. During all this, not just one, but two enemy groups pursue Sailor Moon for grudges going back 5000 years. Chibiusa must band together with her new friends and help Sailor Moon and the Sailor Soldiers solve the mysteries of the ancient past and find out if Princess Moon was really the benevolent Goddess they had always believed in…

Sea of Serenity.Net is proud this very special 17th release on the birthday of Miyuki Kanbe, third generation Sailor Moon. This musical is the fourth and final addition to the Dracul Series which stars Miyuki Kanbe as Sailor Moon. This musical release is in tribute to her. With this, we also mark the first time that a full generation of Sailor Moon musicals have been consistently translated.

Translator’s Notes

Death Vulcan’s arrival on Earth is imminent and even so, the Outer Soldiers have a falling out with Sailor Moon’s group when they decide to take a trip to Monaco. When a battle with Magi Saint Germain arises, Sailor Moon is forced to decide between her friends and the Silver Crystal. Now separated from her friends, Sailor Moon must figure out why her destiny is with the Silver Crystal and try and figure out whether Death Vulcan is really a companion of the Solar System or not in this thrilling Final Battle of the Stars and Planet, the Ragnarok of the Gods begins!

This show is concludes the Dracul Series with many twists and turns and final revelations that only make sense in watching Winter 2000, Summer 2000 and Winter 2001. We recommend viewing these shows to get the most out of this Spring 2001 show. It also features the Super Revue Musical Show!
