What Minako meant to say was "miira to tori ga miira ni naru"
(hunting the mummy and then becoming the mummy), an expression that
refers to someone who intends to persaude someone about something and
insetad getting pursauded themselves. Though she got the phrase wrong,
the original expression doesn't really fit the situation anyway.

10:27 Usagi/Rabbit

"Usagi" means "Rabbit", so when they say the animals remind them of 
rabbits, they also mean they remind them of Usagi.

16:02 Okama

Okama is a colloquial term for a homosexual male or a male transvestite.

16:53 Corns on the feet

They're calling him "uonome" which refers to corns that you might get
on your feet. Literally "uo-no-me" can mean "eye of the fish". Just as
"tora-no-me" and "taka-no-me" can mean "eye of the tiger" and "eye of
the hawk" respectively.

28:47 Contestant

The word is actually "zekken" which refers to their cloth bibs,
(from the German word deckan). It is translated here as "constestant"
for more natural English.
