A type of Japanese house spirit. They appear as ghost-like children usually
about the age of six with blushing red faces and bobbed hair. They haunt
houses and love to cause mischief, making footprints in ash and turning 
pillows over. Nonetheless, a house that has a zashiki warashi are said to
prosper and households that drive them away are said to go into decline.
To maintain the zashiki warashi, one must appreciate and care for them
as they would a child.

The word Luna uses here for children is "chisakimonotachi" (literally, little
persons) and is somewhat ambiguous in English, though it usually does mean 
children. However, the word can also be used to refer to someone who 
is little in the sense they are standing up for a difficult cause. It can also
be stretched to cover young animals such as puppies and kittens. In this 
case,  "chisakimonotachi" implies that Sailor Luna protects people who 
are too young or little to protect themselves so Luna stands in for them. 
Children being the implied group. This seems to be supported by her 
candy-based attacks. Though since Luna is a cat, it could also cover
puppies and kittens as well as children. The translation "children" 
has been used as we feel it most closely matches the ideas conjured up 
by the Japanese used in this context.

This is called a harisen, a giant paper fan used to slap. This is typically
associated with slapstick comedy.
