Mandala (meaning circle in Sanskrit) are symbols used in Hinduism and
Buddhism. Like its anime counterpart, the mandala shown here seems to 
take inspiration from centre image of the Womb Realm Mandala. 
Linking Mars to Fudo Myo-o, personficiation of Dainichi Nyorai who is 
depicted at the center of the Womb Realm Mandala. Fudo Myo-o is a 
deity always depicted in flames that represent the purification by burning
away defilements on the mind.
