Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon -SHINING MOON TOKYO-

is a new Sailor Moon experience that opened in Azabu-Juuban, Tokyo, Japan in August 15, 2019.

Where the story of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon began
It is located underneath the Joule A building, a building that Sailor Moon fans would recognize as the building where Osa-P jewelers was in the orignal manga.
It is a permanent show restaurant, the first of its kind for Sailor Moon. Previously Sailor Moon themed cafes appeared but were only temporary and open for a limited time. This is the first restaurant with a Sailor Moon musical dinner show. The restaurant features Sailor Moon themed food, desserts and drinks along with an area with exclusive goods are sold. They also have a photo area set up for fans to take photos with themselves.
There is both a lunch and dinner menu, with the performances being held for the dinner times only. There are three dinner shows a day and reservations are required to attend. The voice of Luna (Misato Matsumoto) gives the audience directions prior to the show starting. The performance itself is about 40 minutes long with each of the main cast having two actresses cast. Therefore the performing cast varies each day, with announcements made on the restaurants official twitter account on the days cast. The show has little dialogue and is in similar vein to The Super Live with a focus on dance and music over plot and dialogue.
No video recording is allowed of the performance except during the final song, which is Moonlight Densetsu. During the song, the characters go into the audience to interact with fans and take pictures.
Since the opening of the restaurant, they have held special events for the main Characters birthdays as well as an event for Halloween. So far birthday’s celebrated have been for Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury (September 10th) and Minako Aino/Sailor Venus (October 22nd) and Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter (December 5th).
The restaurant has also changed it’s menu to go with the change of seasons from Summer to Fall. It’s presumed that the menus will be changed each season from now on.
