Sailor War! (セーラーWar!), Sailor War!, is a song that appears in very many musicals and often slightly varies between them. It is usually performed when the Sailor Soldiers prepare for battle. it first appears as they resolve to fight the Dark Kingdom in “Summer 1993 – Gaiden Dark Kingdom Fukkatsu Hen”. It reappears in Summer 1999, Summer 2000, Summer 2004 and Winter 2005. It appears with slightly different lyrics as Sailor WAR! 2001 in Winter 2001 and Sailor WAR! 2002 in Spring 2002. Other versions of this song also exist: Sailor WAR ’94, Sailor WAR ’94 II and Sailor War Supreme.
Other than lyrical differences, two major versions of Sailor War exist and both can be found on the memorial album for “Gaiden Dark Kingdom Fukkatsu Hen”. The one found in musicals is known as the Gekichuu (劇中) Version (During Play Version), while the other is simply known as “Sailor War!” and is a different arrangement from the musical version. This version can only be found on that album.

Notes:
“Ikitakunai kedo shinitakunai kedo”
The pronunciation was changed to “yukitakunai kedo shinitakunai kedo”. There is no difference in kanji or meaning.
“Gonin no chikai”
This phrase was changed to “Senshi no chikai” (戦士の誓い – Our Soldier vows) in later versions.
“Itsutsu no kokoro”
This phrase was change to “Senshi no Kokoro” (戦士の心 – Our Soldier hearts) in later versions.
“Kuru toki ga kita to wakattakara”
This last word was changed to “wakarukara” (わかるから ) this changes the tense but has no effect on translation.
